I did a review on the jacket that pairs with these pants also, but they deserve their own review. Purchased the pair as an all rounder waterproof outer shell for tramping, backpacking, travel, everyday and the like. Knowing they were in no way designed for it, I took them on a 2 day skiing trip and despite many many wipeouts, not a single scuff mark! Despite a lot of contact with the snow, my legs were bone dry at all times! They hold up really well to gorse and brush, and I feel confident in their protection to go off the beaten track. They are light enough to roll up and stuff in a pack or rucksack, making them easy to carry around everyday. They are lightweight, yet the fabric itself feels so durable. I'm extremely impressed, should of bought them ages ago. Much much better than Gore-Tex shell Pants!!!
