  The T-140 S 29er is our best mountain bike for finding every sort of fun everywhere. Our mid-travel suspension platform combines 140mm front travel with 135mm rear travel to deliver you the perfect blend of impeccable rough terrain control and pedalling efficiency. Its the kind of balanced ride that will have you attacking every trail with confidence and speed while still delivering that rush of involvement and reward.
   
  29in wheels (aka 29er) are the fastest, smoothest-rolling size for out-and-out speed and performance. Rolling on this larger wheel size and dressed with broad WTB tubeless rims and top-spec Maxxis tyres, the T-140 S 29er makes light work of roots, rocks, and anything else the trail throws your way.
   
  The newly engineered alloy frame is lightweight, tough, dependable and backed with a four-year frame warranty, lifetime bearing warranty and unique weather sealing features. Our switchable Shape.It link also means you can adjust the geometry from its stock high setting to low to slacken the head angle out by 0.7 and reduce the bottom bracket height by 8mm for a more aggressive, gravity-focused ride character. Our Total Geometry concept also balances measurements across the bike for hero handling with no learning curve. All combined so you can go further and faster with the confidence to play hard wherever the trail takes you.
   
  Features & Equipment
  On this S model, the entry-level model to our T-140 29er range, suspension duties are handled by the the latest RockShox Pike Select+ fork and Deluxe Select+ rear shock. The shock performance is custom tuned by our enduro-winning engineers, for unparalleled traction through the loosest turns and toughest climbs. The prototype T-140 29er even won enduro races under current and two-time national enduro champion and Whyte Senior Designer, Sam Shucksmith, to prove mid-travel can still win big if you do it right.
   
  Just like the exceptionally capable and durable frame and suspension, the experience-proven kit on the T-140 S 29er punches way above its weight too, with Shimano Deore 12-speed gears and powerful four-piston brakes, our own Whyte drop.it adjustable dropper seat post (with frame size-specific drop 120-150mm on size S frames; 140-170mm on size M/L; 170-200mm drop on XL) and Whyte double sealed hubs (12mm x 148mm Boost thru-axle rear; 15mm x 110mm Boost thru-axle front) for on-the-money performance and maximum ride time, month after month.
