w3Dgewall is Armada’s new 3D moulded sidewall tech, this is glued to the core at an angle, making the skis more durable but lighter at the same time. The Caruba woodcore allows the ski to flex softer in the tips and tails making it easier to butter, press and swing around without losing pop or liveliness.

It’s been 20 years since Armada launched their first freestyle ski , the AR5. This season they have revamped their ARV freestyle line of skis with new technology.
The new Armada ARV 94 is the most versatile of the range, with it’s 94mm waist it is at home in the park, taking hot laps on groomers and ripping up most conditions NZ can throw at it all with a playful side.

The Caruba woodcore allows the ski to flex softer in the tips and tails making it easier to butter, press and swing around without losing pop or liveliness.

- 2.5 Impact Edge: Oversized and specially heat-treated, built to resist impact damage
- AR Freestyle Rocker: Rockered tip and tail are combined with positive camber under foot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so.
- w3Dgewall: This allows for more material in critical areas (thicker) and a clean taper to the tip/tail. The ability to have angled thicker material underfoot will increase durability!
- Caruba Core: 15-20% lighter than poplar, equal performance, sustainable material. Super poppy!
- Ash Binding Insert: Milled out centre binding mat for ash reinforcement. Sustainable material and superior bindings reinforcement.
- S7 Base: Durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness
